There’s a brand new prim cookie song coming out tomorrow called “Potion”!

It interpolates the invincible potion theme from Wizards and Warriors on the NES. Wizards and Warriors is my mom’s favorite game, and a few months ago my little brother actually recommended that I make a song sampling the invincible potion music. So I did. Originally I used the chip tune lead for the melody, until I discovered the “Hyper dance” synth. I had a habit of including “analog sweep” synth in EVERY song I made, and Hyper dance might take its place. This song is included on the “Love EP”, which got its name because I used a placeholder image when putting these songs together in CapCut, and eventually I grew attached to the temporary album cover, so I used it. The EP is 9 tracks, which I know is kinda stretching it for an EP, but whatever. I got tired of these songs being unreleased, and didn’t know how to fit them on the next 2 albums (which have a darker tone) so I decided to make this. Also the next 2 albums will hopefully be done in 2025, but we’ll see. The working titles are “0VRWHLMD” and “nadir”. They will be done when they’re done. There’s also two other songs called “Contention” and “Cubblesmorf” which will probably also release soon. I’ll tell you when they do. The Love EP will release on October 25th.

On another note, I’ve been reading Yotsuba&! recently. It is good. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick up a few more volumes from the library in a few hours.
